BackgroundCranson Capital Solutions was started by Devon Cranson in 2006 due to the discovery of a lack of financial advisors for owners of small and medium sized businesses in the GTA market. Many such business owners have few people to turn to when they need to discuss and structure their financing facilities. In addition, they usually are not in a position to hire a full time expert to deal with these issues. Cranson Capital Solutions was created to be an advisor and intermediary to handle business financing arrangements.

Prior to founding Cranson Capital Solutions, Devon Cranson worked for a top tier Canadian chartered bank in their commercial markets division in downtown Toronto. Devon was consistently a top performer and built solid relationships with his 80+ SME client portfolio. Prior to commercial banking, Devon founded and operated a sports business for 15 years that included programming, instruction, events and retail. Devon currently sits as the VP Events on the Board of the Ontario Minor Roller Hockey Association. He also is the Provincial Representative of the National Inline Hockey Association. Devon has a B.Comm Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, and is currently enrolled in the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program.
