TORONTO, November 29, 2016 – Cranson Capital Securities Inc. (“Cranson Capital”) is pleased to announce the successful completion of a $13, 851, 214 capital raise for Findev Inc.( “Findev”), a publicly traded real estate financing company based in Toronto. Cranson Capital was the lead agent for the raise which was completed in two closings, with the help of 76 accredited investors. A total of 23,085,358 subscriptions receipts were issued at a price of $0.60 each, Plazacorp being the largest shareholder and the strategic partner.
Plazacorp originally proposed the change of business of Transgaming Inc., a company focused on the digital distribution of games for Smart TVs, next generation set-top boxes and over-the-top devices, to Findev, a real estate financing company. Plazacorp saw the opportunity of creating a vehicle using their vast expertise to assist developers in their projects while taking advantage of Toronto’s appreciating real estate market. Findev will provide financing for real estate developments where management identifies unique circumstances to generate above average returns. Plazacorp has a tremendous track record in identifying attractive and profitable real estate which affords Findev the ability to finance challenging real estate projects that traditional lenders avoid.
As planned, Findev has successfully provided financing for two Plazacorp projects: Musee - King Adelaide West and 50 at Wellesley Station, and will continue to source additional investment opportunities.
