In October 2018, Cranson Capital investors closed on a $5.2 million investment in the 1569 Simcoe Street North Limited Partnership for the purpose of completing a townhouse development in North Oshawa built by Podium Developments. In 2020, Ironwood Townhomes was named Community of the Year by the Durham Region Home Builder’s Association. The development has received extensive recognition as a leader for innovation, recently recognized by the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority for efforts in rehabilitation work done to the Oshawa Creek on the development site.
Following the final closing of all units on December 15, 2022, the project successfully repaid the entire construction loan and returned investors' capital in early 2023.
